09.00 Pick-up from the two conference hotels
09.30 Sustainable City residential quarter walk around with outline of the urban heat island design strategies for the planning of the neighbourhood.

10.30 Travel to Bastakiyah, traditional windcatcher neighbourhood of Dubai city (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al_Bastakiya ). Tour of the quarter and visit to a traditional windcatcher house with outline of its key design features.
